Inspired by World Vegan Day, which is celebrated on November 1st, video showing Kassia Melisching making vegan biscuits was created.
Recipe: Vegan biscuits
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cups whole-wheat flour
- 2 tbsp oat bran
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- 3 cups parsley
- 1/2 cup carrots
- 1 cup water
Instructions: grate carrots, chop parsley, and turn the oven to 250 celsius degrees. While the oven heats up, mix in a large bowl the chopped parsley, grated carrots and add two tablespoons of olive oil. In a separate large bowl, mix two tablespoons of whole-wheat flour, oat bran and baking powder. Then mix this dry mixture with the vegetables from the first bowl and add a cup of water and mix everything together. From the mixture and the remaining whole-wheat flour, form balls and arrange them on a baking tray lined with baking paper and put in the oven for 25 minutes.
