The international art project “Let Them Eat Cake!/Neka jedu kolače!” represents one of the subprojects of the IF Festival – International Festival of Asking Questions.

The saying “Let them eat cake!” it is most often attributed to Queen Marie Antoinette, and the statement has gained great symbolic importance over time in historical depictions of the upper class as selfish and unaware of status differences. Although historians disagree about the source of this statement, it is often used to describe the continuing gap between the richest and poorest classes of society, a problem that the ARKTIK wants to point out.
